Job Overview

We are seeking a talented quantitative researcher and strategist with a background in finance and economics to join our team. As a Quantitative Researcher and Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our Concentrated Liquidity Management strategy tool for decentralized exchanges and advising on portfolio management for the Protocol’s Treasury. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with other team members to drive trading performance, optimize liquidity utilization, and identify new opportunities in the DeFi space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a liquidity management strategy for active Liquidity Provisioners (LPs) in decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap, Quickswap, Stellaswap etc.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to build and maintain trading bots, models, and algorithms that execute our liquidity management strategy, maximizing fee returns and minimizing impermanent loss for Unipilot’s LPs
• Monitor and analyze trading performance and market data to optimize our liquidity utilization and trading strategies.
• Research current DeFi primitives including AMMs and other DeFi protocols in the liquidity management space
• Conduct quantitative research and analysis to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities in the DeFi space
• Work on cutting-edge research projects in market economics, mechanism design, trading systems and risk frameworks to identify new opportunities and product ideas in the DeFi space
• Lead research proposals and white papers that cater to experts and non-specialist
• Advise on asset & portfolio management of Protocol’s Treasury to maximize returns for the community and the team
• Develop strong industry and company knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, or finance. Master's/PhD degree preferred.
• Strong background in quantitative research and analysis, including statistical modeling and programming in Python or similar languages
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
